The Gender Spectrum Conference is the oldest and largest conference in the U.S. exclusively for families with transgender, non-binary and gender-expansive children and youth. Research emphatically shows that supportive environments for gender-expansive children and youth are essential for their health and safety. Without adult support, transgender and gender-expansive youth suffer high rates of depression, self-harm, and suicide. Our Conference provides a unique opportunity for parents, caregivers, and families to get the most up-to-date information and share best practices for supporting the children and young people in their lives, and to hear the stories of other parents and caregivers so that they can all learn from each other as they take this gender journey with their children.
Co-presented by Gender Spectrum and PFLAG NYC, with time for reflection and discussion about this powerful story following the film!
